Classic Kelly`s Family Restaurant in Cedar Springs

This place is incredible! I'm tempted to give it a bad review to keep people from going there, but I believe in rewarding excellent service and delicious food. Both of which I had today. Will be back for sure.

Great food and even better prices!!! It's nice to go out to eat and get good home cooked meals without paying outrageously inflated prices!!! Our waitress was super nice as well!! Recommend you take the time to stop by and check it out, you won't be sorry!!

Good food but the owner was vary rude to my family multiple times throughout the night.

I was looking for a diner on a Saturday and figured Cedar Springs, the red flannel capital of the world, just might have one so I drove North. I found Classic Kelly's Restaurant and had lunch there. I ordered coffee, a cup of chili, and the smelt dinner. I followed it with homemade cherry pie with ice cream. I spent $20 including tip for one person. The chili was good but very tomato heavy. I added some hot sauce and it was pretty good. The smelt were tasty but pre-frozen. I added gravy to my fries which were good. Cherry pie was kind of small but decent. Service was friendly and relaxed as was the atmosphere. I'd go back and maybe have a burger or one of 5 dinner specials for $10. Overall, a good diner with comfort food. Don't expect homemade and you'll be happy.

Just happened to be driving through and saw this restaurant. Always like to try the small town eateries. Very glad we stopped! Food was great. My wife and I had the Chicken Salad sandwich on their homemade white bread. Bowl of chili definitely homemade and good. And good coffee too. Very friendly and welcoming waitress. Will go back when up that way again.

Nice little mom and pa restaurant with homemade food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Great service as well. My family and I eat here often and have never been disappointed.

Just as the name states...it is a classic!!! Down home cookin' and the staff is always friendly as if they had known you since you were knee high to a grasshopper!! Great food!!! Great service!!!

Great food like home cooked. Atmosphere is like eating with the family. The tables are close and chairs are comfortable. If you like a feel at home place this is it. The staff is friendly too. Large menu with fair pricing. Causal dinning

Expensive, raised prices by 3 to 5 dollars,yes you made a new menu with the raise in prices,sand lake, Rockford are way cheaper

Both our sandwiches were great. Hot beef and hot pork. Nice staff.

First time visit for breakfast. Came at a busy time but was still able to find a seat. Waitresses were very friendly. Eggs, sausage and Pancakes were delicious!

Probably my favorite place for breakfast! Drive from Greenville to come here. Very fair pricing, large portions. Always leave happy!

My daughter and I were out driving around found this place. We absolutely loved it. great old time cafe feel with awesome food. We did a late breakfast and this was the first time I couldn't finish my whole meal, portions are huge, love it. Price is good. Can't wait until I'm passing through again ill defiantly will be stopping in.

First time was a great and best time! Loved our waitress very fast and prompt food was so delicious!

This place is a hidden gem. Their serving sizes/portions are hugely generous! The food is positively excellent! It is done to perfection, & the flavors are great. Their prices are low too. For what they serve they could easily be charging a lot more. Whoever their chefs are they should win some kind of a culinary award. Also, the waitresses are so kind & helpful. My family highly recommends this place. It is our new go to destination restaurant.

Nice local family style restaurant. I have known the owner since we worked together selling food to restaurants. They know and understand the business. The menu is creative enough to have some fun with their offerings, but still maintain the rural local crowd. It's not fancy but always busy.

The food is just terrific. Need better tables, chairs etc but Im really not there for decor

We had a family gathering close to 80 people food was good the person doing the catering was very rude to many of the people there he stood over everyone watching them get food making them feel uncomfortable made rude comments very uncalled for he provided the food it was paid for it was not his business how much anyone was eating!! Would not recommend to anyone if that guy was catering when you pay for a catered dinner you expect some professional curtious people to put it on not one ornery , mosey old man!!

We went for breakfast so I can only review that and the service. It's a great place to go for the price. The service was 5-star. The waitress refilled drinks and coffee often while keeping the table clean. The food matches the price. Its decently cheap so it's not stellar but it's good and filling. The menu also offers plenty of options for all courses. There are also plenty of condiment options with different kinds of butter, jam, sweetener, and plenty of ketchup and mustard. They're also open very early and close around 9 PM. It's a great place to go with friends and family at anytime of the day for cheap, decent food.

Fantastic breakfast menu and Friday perch dinner hard to beat. Great country crowd. Wish they would bring the swivel chairs back.

Cedar Springs, Classic Kelly's my first time in both. Great home style atmosphere, great chairs to sit in and enjoy a home style meal. We hope to go back soon. Definitely beats fast food! Highly recommended.

Being with my son is always great. I ordered a cheeseburger plate. The server was consistent, pleasant, atmosphere friendly. My buger was burnt, the bun toasted to dry, and I felt there was to many onions, pickles and the tomato to thick, I could of had 3 nice thin slices. I wasn't going to fuss because it was my choice to go here.

This place has become a Saturday favorite. Even though they stay busy they're always quick to greet you and seat as soon as possible. Food is good and pretty big portions and the prices are very very reasonable.

2.5-2.9 stars ⭐️ parking lot decent had room for a trailer .... restaurant needs some updating .... service was perfect food was delicious but didn’t have avocado to go with my breakfast ... my buddies had no complaints .... recommend to passer-buyers !!!!!!

I fell in love with this place great food and great service ..up until now...I sorry to say me and my family won't be back for a while .says open to 9 pm on door and website. There is no update of different hours. There are people eating inside but the doors are locked and it's only 836 pm. The also is no answer on the phone again people inside eating, people working. It is a shame because this place had wone over until now.

There is a large selection on the menu and everything is reasonably priced. The only downside is that the kid drinks weren't refillable and we had to purchase another cup halfway into our meal.

Had breakfast this morning. It was excellent. American fries were crispy, and eggs cooked correctly. My wife had veggie eggs benedict, which she said were perfect. Others must agree as it was packed on a Friday morning.

Super nice service and when my ex and I came here, despite it being PACKED our food came out quick and was quite good.

Wonderful family friendly local restaurant. We had a party of nine but thankfully they have tables set up to accommodate a party of our size. Real good breakfast food as well as other comfort food favorites. Our service was great and the prices were very reasonable. When we head up north on 131, I think we'll stop here more often. Maybe next time I'll remember to take pictures of the food.

This place was packed and the service was top notch! House special Eggs Benedict was the best I ever had anywhere.
